Lovely for walks and for those interested in history, Minute Man National Park is a great place to spend a few hours.
The Battles of Lexington and Concord happened on April 19, 1775 - the start of the Revolutionary War. That battle, memorialized in the poem "The Shot Heard Round the World" by Ralph Waldo Emerson is reinacted on a grand scale. The area has a rich history as the home of author Lousisa May Alcott and Ralph Waldo Emerson.
