A fascinating museum that presents great exhibits and short films on the Cherokee. I highly recommend visiting on a day when you are trying to find a fun and interesting indoor activity to do.
A very nice museum that tells the story of the Cherokee people. This would be more or less on the way to the Oconaluftee Visitor's Center and Newfound Gap.
Tells the history of the Cherokee. Cultural events are scheduled from time to time. Visit the Museums website for more information.

“Regarding a restaurant, if you use the Yelp app, enter Bryson City location. I think you would like The Bistro at the Everitt Hotel. They’re open 4:30-9:00 pm Wednesday- Sunday. Bryson City is about 27 minutes away. Recommended to call for reservations. You can see menus on Yelp.”
