Quaint small cove with fish & chips shop and adjoining sit-in restaurant. Several ice cream parlours, convenience and post office store called ‘Cakebreads’. Ideal place for snacks and drinks.

Perfect beach day out. Water sports, harbour jumping when the tide is right, buckets and spades for sale, small selection of food and drink outlets, toilets, large car park. If you want a quieter time you can walk around the coast path to vault beach which is a well kept local beauty spot. No facilities at all and only accessible by a hike around the cliffs or by boat.

Our main beach - sheltered and safe and with all the facilities a family may need including kayak hire, refreshments and toilets. Look out for harbour days in the summer and the New Year's day swim in winter. Make sure you check tide times as there's plenty of room when the tide is out but it can get a bit squished at full high tide!

Our closest beach, 5 mins down the hill. If the tide is high or the beach too busy, try the quay. The raised step is a great place to sit. Perhaps grab a coffee from the Mermaid, a beer from Cakebreads, or Fish & Chips from The Haven.

The main beach in the village. A soft sandy, gently shelving beach. Gets very busy in the height of the season. Dogs must be on a lead from Easter to September. It being in the village there is a cafe and public toilets up the road. You can also rent kayaks and SUP's.
