Miller Outdoor Theatre might be one of the best reasons to visit (and live in!) Houston. Check their website or facebook page to see what is going on. It's free. Lots of interesting events. You can bring your own food and drink (think picnic) or buy stuff there. There are reserved seats available under the pavilion or general seating on the lawn.
