Labor Day Weekend every year. This is the quintessential old-time county fair, going strong for 99 years and counting. Visit the Home Arts building to see amazing quilts, hobbies, flower arrangements, Indian crafts and more. Head to the 4-H barns to watch kids show their animal projects, and then head to the sale for the fun as local businesses outbid each other to buy the grand champion steer. The grandstand entertainment includes live thoroughbred and quarter horse racing - complete with parimutuel betting - as well as an extensive stock horse show. A carnival, all kinds of Fair food, the Cowboy Dance and the best people watching you'll ever enjoy make for a fantastic weekend.
