Gwili Railway is one of the UK's most picturesque preserved lines, set in beautiful countryside with abundant wildlife, the line follows the River Gwili on a steady uphill journey through farmland and wooded hillsides
A welsh heritage railway! Take a step back in time. Many different events onboard from festive trips on Santas magical steam trains throughout December to cream teas or Sunday lunch dining whilst enjoying beautiful views.
If you like riding on steam trains, this is a lovely little trip along the river. There may be an opportunity to stand in the engine room and blow the whistle! The nearest station is located about 25 mins drive away, on the way to Carmarthen.
The Gwili Railway is a Welsh heritage railway that operates a standard gauge preserved railway line along a few miles of very scenic track using real steam engines. Run by volunteers it is good value.
Always wanted to be a traindriver? Feel what it was really like to drive a steam locomotive. Enjoy a cream tea or a curry night. Please check dates.
