This is the south end of Lowestoft and easier to access from Bungay. The beach is great and if you want the offerings of a traditional seaside town amusement arcades, donuts, candy floss etc its a mile walk along the promenade. I love the beach here and enjoy the Jolly Sailors for a pint and pub grub, Pakefield Plaice for fish and chips and Zaks at Sunrise for a beachside pitstop. There is some free parking and plenty of paid for parking. 30mins by car from Bungay

Lovely dog friendly all year round beach, about 10 minutes drive up the coast

A great "plaice" to get your fish and chips , plenty of benches on nearby Pakefield cliffs to enjoy the view. Cash only
