A 15km one way walk along the edge of Lake Tarawera either starting or ending at Hot Water beach. Please book one of the water taxis for the outward or return trip. The brochure is in the file with all the details of how to do this. There is a great natural hot pool just off the main walking track. Please ask either of us for the directions.

Meander your way through bush from Te Wairoa to Hot Water Beach Campsite. Stay overnight or pre-book a water taxi with "Totally Tarawera" back to The Landing at Lake Tarawera.

Hike the Tarawera Trail, a 15 km hiking trail along Lake Tarawera to either Hot Water Beach or a unique bush hot pool. We can pick you up in the boat after you walk one way.

This walk continues is around 15km one way, ending at natural hot pools. However, you can walk one way and catch the water taxi back or vice versa.
