Just 6 mins away via drive or take the Trail from the cottage itself to the Jones Falls. It cascades over the escarpment 12 meters to the Pottawatomi River that flows into Owen Sound Bay.

Falls is right by the Owen Sound Travel Information Bureau, you actually can park in their lot to access trail to the falls

Jones Falls cascades over the escarpment 12 metres to the Pottawatomi River that flows into Owen Sound Bay.  Please note that water flow is minimal during August and September.  The Pottawatomi Conservation Area is 116 hectares of Niagara Escarpment land and provides many recreational activities. This also the site of one of three Memorial Forests, where you can purchase a tree in memory of a loved one
