Very typical of this area are the nail salons along Ventura Blvd. I go to Capri Nails because I've known the owner for years and the prices are very good. I get a pedicure in the massage chair and it's $20. It's not what I'd call a relaxing place--the TV is on and there's lots of Vietnamese chatter between the staff, but it's a quick in and out and they do a good job.
