Easy. Rancheria Falls Trail is a 4.1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Shaver Lake, California that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

There is a really beautiful waterfall about 40-45 minutes away right near Huntington Lake.

Spectacular waterfall hike! 2 mile round trip hike. Approx 20 mile drive up HWy 168, not far past the China Peak resort entrance. 7,200’ at trailhead, 8,120’ at end of trail near base of the falls. Restrooms at trailhead.

1 mile hike in and out with beautiful views once you get to the waterfall. Recommend going early in the morning and bringing water
