Royal academy for fine arts in Stockholm is a nice place to visit even if you have limited time. It's only a 10 minute walk from the central station, shopping and the castle. They have a nice coffee shop with great views of the building and some of the collection. There is normally at least 4 main exhibitions in the building by excellent artists.
