You can walk right up to the observation deck of the dam and watch the water running over. You will see many people fishing below the dam and many times will see them catch a large variety of fish. There is also a walking/bike riding trail that will continue on from there for 2 miles to Shadow Rock Park

Located in Forsyth, MO you'll find picnic areas, walking trails and great fishing. Taneycomo lake is known for its Rainbow and Brown trout or throw line in below the dam into Bull Shoals lake and you just might hook a nice walleye. About a 30 minute drive through the countryside.
