A five to ten minute walk from the Airbnb is Station Beach. A sandy beach with iconic large blue chairs and two playgrounds. Take the wagon and sand pails from the garage and you'll be reading your book with your toes in the sand in no time!

Station Beach is the perfect place to spend an afternoon (or the day) with your entire family. With its shallow water, gradual slope, sandy beach, and smattering of pebbles lining the water's edge, it's easy to see why this beach is one of our most popular. The boardwalk that borders the beach, is a great place to stroll of jog, or to grab a seat on one of the benches scattered along the way to take in the views - HINT - the sunsets are spectacular! The boardwalk can be a learning experience, too. Soak up some local marine history as well as the sun through the interpretive signs with information about local shipwrecks. This is a fantastic beach that has everything; free parking, washrooms, change rooms, long beaches, gardens, restaurants within walking distance. A very relaxing and very fun way to spend a day!
