Trail system for hiking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing. Solitude's Nordic center has inexpensive cross-country and snowshoe rentals. Great place to take a day off of skiing and capture memorable photos of the mountain scenery or just collect your thoughts.

12000 S Big Cottonwood Canyon Rd Suite 4002, Solitude, UT 84121 This is a quite slower way to enjoy the snow. Rent snowshoes or cross country skis and enjoy exploring our forest in the winter. Trail starts near Brighton Ski resort and gradually descends down the mountain ending at Solitude Ski Resort. Stop and have lunch before heading back to your transportation. A shuttle runs every 15-30 minutes to transport skiers back to Solitude Nordic Center.
