Recently renovated, this historic pub has been given a breath of life after a major refurbishment to get this stunning, Grade II listed, semi-derelict pub back open after being closed for years. Food is fit for all occasions and appetites. Emphasis is on locally sourced produce and Northumbrian tradition. A great little pub. Dog friendly. They offer a good range of draft beers. Reasonably priced food, including Sunday lunches. I love their sharing platter. There’s a small beer garden.

It's our local - what more is there to say? Excellent food, friendly staff and lovely ale and wine! The brunch is definitely worth a go!
