A wonderful way to spend half a day is to wander through the botanical gardens. There are many trails you can explore, an indigenous plant nursery and coffee shop: Marshmellow Cafe. A Park Run is also hosted here every Saturday morning at 8am.

This is a well established botanical garden with features like the Succulent Rockery, Mixed Fynbos, Pioneer Forest, Welcome Garden and many more to be seen. 400m from the cottage

Peaceful day outside. You can have a walk through the gardens, have a picnic and enjoy all the flower and bird species around.

Beautiful spot to picnic , but also has a lovely little restaurant called the Marshmallow Cafe which is kids friendly with jungle gyms and pet friendly.
