Boat museum of Gríms Karlssonar: It is appropriate to visit Captain Grímur Karlsson’s Boat Museum when looking at a visit to our old seaport. At Duus Museum you can see a total of 120 ships from the Icelandic fleet, although not all of them are on display at the same time.

Some very interesting displays about the area and its people. Well displayed with lots of English translation. Also a huge display of model fishing and other boats. This is a must-visit and in short walking distance from Little White Castle. Approx 300m.

Duus Museum is the Art and Cultural Center of Reykjanesbær. It houses the exhibition halls for the local museum, concert halls and halls for mixed cultural activities. Café Duus offers refreshments. Duus Museum is located near the marina in Gróf overlooking the Keflavík bay. On the cliffs surrounding the Duus marina is an interesting foot path where one might catch a glimpse of whales swimming near by. The marina also marks the beginning of a beautiful 10 km long walk trail along the coastline of Reykjanesbær from Keflavík to Innri Njarðvík.
