One of our favorite quick jaunts! It's a weird space to find but breathtaking once you get there and dogs will love it!

Beautiful stream, lace red rock, and a variety of animal life make this a wonderful place to just take a walk. At the end of a trail you can see ancient Indian writings. This is a gorgeous side trip.

Beautiful area close to our Casita for a early morning hike (at least during the summer). a very fun rope climb around a waterfall (low water level in summer). Trail starts from the campground. There are also many other areas to hike. We've only tried that one.

Great hiking with beautiful red rock vistas, historic pioneer area, but our favorite is the pools to play in.

You'll want to go to the Red Cliffs Campground and take the trail that is at the very back of the campground. Be sure to bring exactly $5 as you may have to pay for parking. This trail is not long at all but takes you to a couple beautiful little waterfalls. Try to go at early or late hours as it can be crowded. If you want more information on how to get here, just message/ask me!
