Arrieta is a small fishing village on the northeast coast. There are some fantastic fish restaurants right on beach, where the fish couldn't get any fresher. Several restaurants are very popular with the locals. Try Casa de la Playa or El Amanecer.

Many good fish restaurants and tapas are located in Arrieta some right on the beach front.

2 nice supermarket close to each other one in the patrol station on the entrance to Arrieta a bit expensive but with more variety . second in the end of main street Arrieta better fruits and vegies

A small restaurant called "Amanecer" right along the water is probably one of the better seafood spots on the island. If you go, tell them "Yayo Fontes" sent you.
