The Drive to Kogelbay is spectacular and has been awarded as one of the best scenic drives in the world. Beautiful, breathtaking beaches with picnic and camping spots. Also has the best surfing spot.

The is a big, busy long beach in front of the caravan park. However, before you get to it (from the Cape Town's side), stop at the parking lot next to the road and walk down the steep footpath to get to three small beaches tucked way in the rocks. Great place to spend the day over a braai or do a picnic. Great surfing and swimming, but pls keep an eye on the tides, not for the novice.

Actually the beach called The Caves at Kogel Bay: A scenic, but DANGEROUS beach (from a swimming point of view).
