Many poets and artists have been fascinated by Lungarni Pisani having inspiration from the beautiful noble palaces that overlook the Arno river. Today, this location also features important museums along the Arno river creating a real "museum system." The main 'lungarni' are Mediceo, Galilei, Gambacorti and Pacinotti (the ones with the Ponte di Mezzo in the middle) and walking along the river here is really beautiful. You can see the facades of the ancient buildings (each very powerful family of the old republic had one building here). Especially fascinating at sunset time, the colours are often incredible.

I lungarni pisani, con i meravigliosi palazzi che li decorano e i ponti sopravvissuti ai bombardamenti della seconda guerra mondiale sono i luoghi più suggestivi e famosi di Pisa, nonché fra i più romantici!

Gli splendidi palazzi signorili che si affacciano sull'Arno sono una cornice incantevole per questa passeggiata. Da non perdere al tramonto, quando la luce dorata rende lo spettacolo indimenticabile, o durante la celebre luminara (16 giugno)
