Never been to Wakefield, Virginia? Well then you may not realize that the Virginia Diner really is a 85-year old diner known for its home style cooking served up with plenty of Southern smiles. Stop by on your way to our famous Virginia beaches or Williamsburg and enjoy some of the same peanut delicacies found on Mrs. Davis' original 1929 Diner menu. You'll quickly understand why the Virginia Diner is known to many as "The Peanut Capital of the World!"™. Whether you crave peanut pie or simply a handful of fresh-roasted peanuts, the Diner is the place to visit. Still family owned and operated, the Virginia Diner is what the locals call "A Legend in a Nutshell"™.
