Bessie is an immaculate display of fine dining in the inner city. Antlers take the place of coat hooks, while saws, cleavers and skillets hang from the kitchen framing and fur pelts dangle off chairs. Heavy menus are encased in leather and brass edging giving a modern day twist.

Great food! A high end restaurant which specializes in great cuts of meat. Not cheap but great for a night out with special ones. Great wine list too. Dark and moody, great atmosphere.....

Bessie specialises in dry aged meat that's aged in house and then finished in a 450 degrees' Celsius charcoal oven to create a unique flavour. Featuring a wide range of top grade cuts of meat, Bessie's menu offers the best of Canterbury meat.
