Makena Beach is beautiful. There are two parts of it, Big Beach and little beach. There are Life guards and Public restrooms with showers and picnic areas. NOTE: Be careful because there can be rough and rouge waves.

Makena Beach, or Big Beach as it is known, is a beautiful beach! One of the best beaches on Maui, but there's no facilities (other than port-a-potties) and there can be a very strong shore break, so be careful!

Beautiful long beach. Though, be very careful of the shorebreak and only enter the water if competent in big waves.

Beautiful beach on the South Shore near Kihei. Several public parking areas, easy access, lots of sand. This is the grand finale of the south shore expanse of beautiful beaches. Not to be missed
