Sukhumvit 11 is/was one of the best well-known tourist/expat hang out spot. It features impressive list of restaurants, bars, night music venues and sport bars. Unfortunately modern development has encroached in the area and some of the oldest bars had to close down. However, there are plenty of bars and clubs to worth a visit. WARNING--This might not a kid friendly place. As there are also prostitutes working on the street.
