See native wildlife up close. A short walk from the unit along a magical boardwalk through the mangroves along Tallebudgera Creek.

Fleays is a small local wildlife park which does a lot for conservation. Worth a visit.

This is close to us also. A much cheaper option than the wild life sanctuary. Council run. Never many crowds

Its only 10 minutes drive away too. Spot koalas, pademelons, dingoes and rock wallabies as you stroll along boardwalks that take you though many different natural habitats and pathways that lead you through shady rainforest and tall eucalypt forest settings. Discover the near-threatened Lumholtz's tree-kangaroo, adapted for life in the trees instead of the ground. See an amazing variety of Australian birds including magestic wedge-tailed eagles, noisy lorikeets, graceful emus and and elegant brolgas, amongst many other animals. Attend one of the many talks given by the Wildlife Officers.
