This is my favourite! Does lovely cheap food, in a relaxing lounge with a variety of sofas, chairs, bar stools. The walk there is lovely as you walk out of Ballater to get there, takes about 25 minutes to walk. Cheap as chips!

Spa, pool and hairdressers. Also have a great resturant and bar. Whiskey tasting on Monday evenings

This is my favourite place! Their food is so cheap, yet really good. Try the crispy bacon rolls- too much for one person... The lounge is very relaxing with lots of sofas. Nice 20 minute walk up the hill to get there.Also is the restaurant next door, Scottish cooking except on a Tuesday. My favourite is the venison (deer).
