Similar to Dead Horse Point and close thereto is Island in the Sky. From the point one can see the confluence of the Colorado and Green Rivers and 50-100 miles in three directions. Walking along canyon edges can be mesmerizing, be careful not to fall in.

The Island in the Sky mesa offers many pullouts with spectacular views along a paved scenic drive. Hiking trails and four-wheel-drive roads vary in length and difficulty.
