JPs may seem a little out of the way but the outdoor dining on the dock is great. Located in Bowers Beach about 7 miles from Slaughter Beach

People visit J.P.’s to indulge in our diverse menu while enjoying our scenic fishing village environment on the Delaware Bay. Bowers beach was the docking station for the steam boat, The Frederica, that traveled between here and Philadelphia. The town in its day was a fishing industry hub (oysters, fish, blue crabs, and charter boats). Fishing is a way of life in this small town. J.P.’s takes advantage of the gifts the Delaware Bay has to offer, we pride ourselves on catching our own Rockfish, harvesting oysters and supporting our local crabbers. Everything is cooked to order with the freshest of ingredients.
