Old's School General Store (www.oldscoolgeneralstore.com): We are lucky to live close to one of the city's most celebrated corner stores. This convenience store has basic groceries, great coffee and ice cream, but also a lot of local made Toronto souvenirs. Old's School is located at the corner of Lumsden Avenue and Westlake.

Good destination if you are up for a walk through the neighbourhood. Tasty snacks and cute items for sale. The nearby Gledhill Park is a treasure trove of abandoned and well loved Fisher Price toys.
