"Blue Hills' borders The Coorabakh National Park and a 40km scenic drive will get there. Have morning tea and a toilet break at Starrs Creek picnic area. Wander along the boardwalk through pristine rainforest. Adventure upstream along Starrs Creek and cool off on a hot day. Climb Big Nellie, visit Newby's Cave and take in the views across the Upper Lansdowne Valley from Flat Rock lookout. Follow the Forest Road past Waitui Falls, and emerge at Hannam Vale for tea and scones. Or detour through Comboyne, stopping for a refreshing break at the Udder Cow Cafe before continuing back to Blue Hills via Killabahk and Yarrat Forest

Coorabakh is a national park located near to Cow Cottage. Three volcanic outcrops known as Big Nellie (31°42′2″S 152°31′20″E), Flat Nellie (31°42′39″S 152°30′37″E) and Little Nellie (31°41′40″S 152°30′3″E) dominate the park. The park is covered in tall eucalypt forest. Endangered species such as the spotted-tailed quoll, powerful owl and stuttering frog can be found in the area. Look out for Newbys Cave and lookout area with picnic facilities.
