It's a lovely sandy beach with the dunes created when old railway carriages were lined up before the sand was piled on. Great for swimming in the sea, surfing, icecream & fish chips, walks along the coast and around the harbour. It is also the spot which has been used in music videos/ TV shows in recent years. It's great in all weathers with some amazing sunrises and sunsets throughout the year.
