Off leash botanical park. Fabulous adventure play area for kids. Community garden area. Finish up at one of the cafes across Fords Creek.

I love this space and it is a leash free space for your dogs to have a good run and meet some other dogs! Of course it is not anything like the Melbourne Botanical Gardens but the trees are starting to mature. My favourite spot is to lie amongst the olive trees with my head on my pack pack as we often ride in here from the rail trail, providing of course it's nice weather. If you come on a Saturday morning you can join Park Run at 8 am or yoga in the park ( if you are interested in joining yoga i can give you more details as times do vary). Also every second Saturday people come in to barter produce and Fluff is there to kindly for free sharpen your secateurs1

Perfect for a sunny afternoon in town, the Mansfield Botanic Park is open at all times and offers barbecue facilities, picnic shelters and tables, fitness station, a playground and toilets. Bordered by Ford’s Creek the gardens are a beautiful mix of native and introduced species. A popular location for walkers and runners, the park is also just the spot for a game of kick-to-kick or cricket with the kids. Dogs are also allowed to run off-leash within the gardens when accompanied by an owner.
