metro U3. direction Simmering: 1st stop Westbahnhof, 2nd Stop Zieglergasse (Mariahilfer Str.) 4th stop Volkstheater (Museumsquartier) connection to metro U2, 6th stop Stephansplatz connection to metro U1, the 8th Stop Wien Mitte Landstrasse (City Airport Train). The tramway 49 to Dr Karl-Renner Ring (Volksgarten, Hofburg, Rathaus). Connection to tram 1 and tram D(Oper, Belvedere Palace). Bus station Huglgasse: Bus 12A Possingergasse to Possingergasse (2mins) and from there by bus 10A Niederhofstrasse to Schoenbrunn Palace(9 mins). There are ticket machines available at the metro station. you can buy from there one way tickets, 24,48 or 72 hours tickets or weekly tickets.
