This is one of the oldest restaurants in Iasi dating from the year 1796 where you will find an authentic romanian traditional menu and sometimes live traditional music.

The place where writers Mihai Eminescu” and “Ion Creanga” used to spent their time centuries ago. You can visit some very old tunnels that are connected to the Palace of Culture, they use these tunnels as cellar nowadays. Most of the food ia traditional but is avarage, I would recommend this place for history rather for their services. I would rate this one 3,5/5 for food and 5/5 for historical building and place itself.

If you want to experience traditional Romanian food in a historic setting, then this the place for you! The Casa Bolte Rece has been around in one form or another since 1786 and has a storied past. Here you can enjoy the best food, ambience and music that Moldovan tradition has to offer! It is a highly recommended experience.

Bolta Rece "Cold Vault" restaurant, is one of the popular tourist attraction of Iasi. The furnitures,tables,chairs,tablecloths,napkins are made in romanian folk style. Visited both by locals and tourist, the restaurant offer a large variety of traditional romanian cuisine For the beginning you can try a plate of eggplants and tomatoes, or a variety of grilled sausages[mititei],steaks fish ,black and white vines, all surrounded by an atmosphere of romanian folk music. You can taste pancakes with jam[clatite] or cheese dumplings[papanasi] , polenta[mamaliga], [sarmale], [tochitura moldoveneasca].
