Um þennan stað
With cakes and pies to die for, old school Tsórek (tsoureki) and Simit, more varieties of bread than you would ever imagine this is a 'must-visit' place in order to reinstate what a bakery-boulangerie-bakerei should look like.
Keyrt af Foursquare
We love our neighborhood's bakery for their breads (whole-wheat, dinkel), savory snacks (olive bread, bread sticks, cheese pies) and traditional sweets.
TAKIS BAKERY !!! THE BEST IN ATHENS Locals love it, travellers fall in love with it!
Famous boulangerie. Delicious products, sometimes the line of people exceeds the entrans! I love sweet bread (tsoureki in greek) with orange and chocolate.
The most famous bakery in Athens, a perfect place to grab some quick breakfast or lunch

“A small bar with french atmosphere, jazzy music and tables outside. One of my favorites. ”

“We passed by Guarantee for a year before realising this was a hidden gem. Choose your bread type and compose your sandwich. They have a great cheese selection, hams and meats, grilled veggies, home made pestos and sauces. My husband loves their roast beef and béarnaise sandwich (Saturdays only) while I like the grilled vegetables and goat cheese. ”

“If you are looking for something a little more upscale to treat your significant other on a romantic date, be sure to book a table at 'Mani Mani' restaurant. This establishment was featured in the New York Times, and for good reason, as it has been rated 5* by over 1,300 satisfied customers. Serving traditional Greek food with a modern twist and using fresh ingredients mainly from the region of Mani in the Southern Peloponnese, this cozy kitchen is a great choice for good Greek food. Just keep in mind that on Sundays, they are open until 18:00.”
