This is a have to go! Not for the food. It is good but not mind blowing. But for the two white burros. The story of the burros is touching. Yves is an animal lover and went to great lengths to reunite the mother and son burros. Plus, the setting is great. The large swimming pool has been turned into a tranquil fountain and the grounds are lovely.

The food is really good and the service is wonderfully friendly. And you get to eat with the famed white donkeys of Ajijic, named Vino Blanco and Martini.

Yves is a 5 minute walk from the casita and has a varied menu, reasonable prices and great service. The ambiance is also lovely.
