We are blessed to be located close to Joe Wheeler State Park. It provides lots of activities: fishing, boating, golf, walking trails, day use recreation area, and beautiful sights.

They have wonderful trails to walk or Bike. of course huge boat launch. And great fishing.

This state park is only a 16 mile drive and is well worth the visit. There is a Resturant, multiple boat launches that launch into Elk River and Wheeler Lake, biking and hiking trails and multiple picnic areas.
