This a restaurant but they also have free live music on Saturday nights. Try the Coxinha appetizer. In my opinion, this place is a little gem off the beaten path. Tell Eliane, Julie sent you ;)

'Boteco' is a pub, a bar, a restaurant. Boteco' [bo'teku] is a term derived from the word 'botica' (Portuguese from Portugal) which derives from the Greek 'apotheke' which means storage, grocery store or where goods were sold. Today 'Boteco' means a lot. 'Boteco' is a meeting place, a place where people go to enjoy some drinks, to have some delicious food, to hang out, "jogar papo fora" and feel as if they are in Brazil, but without spending the big bucks for the flight.
