Nearby park with lots of trees (did you know that Oak Park is also an Arboretum?) In the summer, this is where you can find Shakespeare in the Park.

Austin Gardens is a great place to go for a run or bike ride, or just bring a picnic blanket to read a book. During the summer they have theatre in the Park.

This small park is tucked between downtown Oak Park and the Frank Lloyd Wright architectural district. Great spot for a short stroll, reading a book, or having a picnic. Plenty of food options on the way.
