Beautiful hiking trails and scenes of nature. Try Temescal Canyon. Check with the Park Service first to make sure the place you want to visit was not damaged by the fires. Volunteers are actively trying to recreate hiking trails.

This is the visitor center for the Santa Monica Mountains Nation Recreation Area. They can provide maps and information for the whole park.
