St Mary's Bay is tucked away down a narrow lane at the back of Brixham. There are lots of steps down to the beach. It is very natural - no loos or cafes.

This is a mainly sandy beach which is only accessible by walking (it is a walk not for the faint hearted!). There is a pay and display car park at Sharkham point but the remainder of the journey is on foot - the scenery is worth the walk. Ensure you take plenty of refreshments and food for a picnic on the beach - there are no facilities at this beach at all. Dog friendly all year round

St Marys Bay is a large sandy beach on the outskirts of Brixham. There are no facilities or toilets so the beach is fairly quiet.

The closest nice beach is St Mary’s, you can walk it in about 25 mins or drive to the car park that is right next to it in a few minutes. If you have a campervan you will have to park on the dry verge just before the barrier as there is a height restriction. From the car park walk left down the coastal park with the sea on your right and go down the stairs. It is never busy, even in the height of summer and for that reason, it is our favourite beach, half sand, half stones. Watch out for jellyfish though. Please note you have to walk down some really steep steps to get to the beach so not great if you are in a wheelchair or have small children in buggies. Also not ideal to try and get a paddleboard down there unless it's inflatable. No toilets or facilities here, it’s a proper Devon beach.
