If you have to eat Italian food in the North End, this is one of the few good places to do it. The neighborhood is filled with tourist traps, but Carmen is a consistently good hole in the wall.

Best kept secret for dinner. With only a few tables, you better get a reservation early- ESPECIALLY for a weekend.

This tiny winebar is mostly only for locals. Book ahead, they only have a few tables - and the food is great
