There are great restaurants and little shops here. I love Schoolhouse Kitchen built from an old turn-of-the-century schoolhouse. Blue Fin has great food and Arvada Tavern has a speakeasy upstairs with live music most weekends! There’s a sock shop - great for gifts and trip memorabilia. Scrumptious has the most unique ice cream flavors you’ll ever see and candy from all generations!

Amazing fresh bread everyday but Sunday! Sweet breads, treats, made to order sandwiches, loaves of bread of all descriptions. I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is!

Golden Gate is only 40 minutes from my house. Lots of well curated trails and beautiful scenery! Raccoon trail from the campground takes you to panorama point and an amazing view of the mountain range!
