This state park is a little more than an hour outside of Denver and has a ton of hikes to offer its visitors. There is a day parking pass required that you could pick up at the visitor center. They can give you great advice too on what to check out. Fall hikes in the park are fantastic!

Just a quick drive/ride down our road to the right, enter the backdoor to nature's paradise at Golden Gate Canyon state park. Tons of biking/hiking trails, and adventure spots. Be sure to stop at Panorama point for a short hike or lookout for the whole family.

Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a great hub of beautiful scenic hikes that fit all needs. At the visitors center, you can talk to someone about what makes the most sense for you that day.

Staff provides local wildlife sighting information and trail recommendations. There are exciting wildlife and habitat exhibits that introduce the animals that live in the park. Fun for all ages.
