Not only are the concerts an amazing experience, there are hiking trails with beautiful views and a museum with Colorado music history.
Nice to visit even if you are not attending a concert. Hiking trails, music museum, the Fort offers a back deck and lawn just to take in view from a different perspective. BEAUTIFUL!
Not only are the concerts the most amazing you’ll experience, but hiking/sightseeing is also memorable.
Rated one of the nation’s best concert venues. Catch a show, or go for a scheduled yoga, workout, or a hike.
Love music, music history, or hiking? Red Rocks has it all: an amazing outdoor amphitheater for concerts, the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, and several hiking trails to pick from that wind in and around the Red Rocks. This is a unique spot in Colorado.
Film on the Rocks: Monday, June 5 – DIRTY DANCING with LOLO and Natalie Tate Monday, June 12 – BRIDESMAIDS with Edison Monday, June 19 – THE FIFTH ELEMENT with Slow Caves and DéCollag Monday, June 21 – ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY (rescheduled) Monday, July 17 – THE LEGO MOVIE with School of Rock…
OMG. If you are into live music and being outdoors, this is the most unique and spectacular place EVER to see a concert. LOVE it.
If you are unable to attend a concert at Red Rocks at least go and take a look, take a short hike or just have a picnic on a non-event day. The setting is beautiful, nothing I write could possibly describe the awesomeness of Red Rocks. Just go!
Even if there isn't a concert going on, the ampitheater is a great place to check out. We enjoy hanging out here, the theater itself is one of a kind, but the surrounding area is loaded with hiking trails as well. Entrance is free when there isn't an event going on.
Red Rocks Amphithratre is one of the most beautiful music venues I have seen. You may explore for free when there are no scheduled events.
About a 30-35 minute drive from Denver, but worth it! A natural outdoor amphitheatre with concerts or movies at night or you can hike and exercise on the stairs during the day.
Outside of the city, but worth the trip for a show, film on the rocks, or some day hiking!
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheatre built into a rock structure near Morrison, Colorado, 10 miles west of Denver. At Red Rocks you can also do hiking and biking in one of its many trails. They also host "Yoga on the rocks" and "Film on the rocks" during summer.
A staple in Colorado. And if you have the time, a must see venue for a show/ performance. It will be a night to remember.
Start the morning out at Red Rocks Amphitheater to see where all the best live music happens outdoors. It's a stunning backdrop for photos and a great place to get in a scenic walk in (start at the trading post for a short loop). After taking in all the fresh air, head into the town of Morrison to…
See anything at this venue. Don't miss it. If you're not into concerts, go during the day end explore! During the summer, this venue also features movie-nights and you can come here to enjoy a recent film.
