This is a beautiful old hotel downtown that dates back to 1892. Architecture buffs will love to check out the amazing open atrium. Those looking for a more lavish experience can enjoy an amazing (but pricey) steak at the Palace Arms restaurant and then sip on Scotch and cigars in the richly decorated Churchill Bar.

Red Rocks is not just a world-class music venue, but there are also countless beautiful hiking and biking trails in and around the park. Downtown Morrison is a fun pit stop as well. Highly recommended

There are a lot of reasons to take a trip up to Boulder (about 30 mins), but Chautauqua Park has to be near the top. It’s an access point to the Flatirons, a series of 5 unique mountain peaks that offers exceptional hiking (difficulty level = high). Even if you don’t want to hike, the views from the park are not to be missed.

If you’re a fan of outdoor gear, then you should plan to stop at the REI flagship store. There’s an outdoor bike track for testing out new bikes, and a full size rock climbing wall inside the store. Really cool.
