Beautiful mountains, driving and hiking. The river runs right next to the road for a lot of the driving path. Tons of hiking opportunities. We highly recommend the Alum Bluffs hike!

Gatlinburg SkyLift Park
765 ParkwayCades cove is a beautiful 11 mile loop in the hear of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. A nice paved path the whole way with great views of wildlife (possible bears!) and the mountains. It is open to cars, bikes, or walkers. NOTE: Certain days or portions of days are CLOSED to cars and only allowed for bikes/walking (traditionally it has been Sunday and Weds mornings but check the official cades cove website or call to confirm).

Getting around Sevierville, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg
The parkway and main strips tend to get busier with traffic as the day goes on. We recommend getting out early if you'd like to avoid the traffic, especially during busy season. Waze can be helpful for navigation if things are really backed up on the main roud, but its part of the fun!
