This is one of the most overlooked, hiking trails in the States. Literally anyone can be a photographer here because of the amazing scenery. Along the trail, you’ll also be able to see some breathtaking sights. One of those would be the biggest and fastest flowing mountain stream in the country…

This is one of our favorite places to drive through. Take Grotto Falls or Rainbow Falls for short hikes as well as seeing what houses looked like back in the day. The tour guide that you can purchase is the one that we have in the cottage also for you to read.

Explore the great outdoors from your own car, on this 5.5 mile one way loop. The entrance is near Rainbows Falls parking area. Roaring Fork is one of the larger and faster flowing streams in the park. Drive this road after a hard rain and see the inspiration behind the name. Be sure to bring hiking…

“The 11-mile loop road is a perfect drive when you’re looking to explore a little history and see the beautiful scenery in the Smokies. Many visitors would argue that Cades Cove is one of the most beautiful places to see in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.”

“Great place to take children. You can catch your own trout and have them cook it up for you. Or you can just order off the menu. Great to do in conjunction with a visit to Forbidden Caverns. ”

“Go to the village ... day or night... it’s the most beautiful scene for Gatlinburg. Always decorated for the season with flowers and such. Visit the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen, the Day Hiker, Blue Mountain Mist Soap Company and other quaint shops. This is our favorite. Park around at the local school ... Pi Beta Phi. Parking supports our local school and brings you right into the village across the street. GPS will take you straight to the school. There is a crosswalk from the school to the village. ”
